Our community encompasses large and small companies, private and public organizations, consultants, educational institutions, and technical business professionals committed to our mission of creating sustainable new tech businesses by combining scientific innovation with business incubation. Working with us, our community members enjoy enhanced visibility through the numerous events hosted at the Ventura BioCenter. This networking allows residents at the VBC access to valuable resources enabling them to build and grow their businesses quickly and efficiently. Our goal is to build harmony and synergy within our community!
Ventura BioCenter Director Greg Cauchon poses with a group of CSUCI chemistry students led by Chemistry Department Chair Dr. Simone Aloisio. The CSUCI chemistry students toured the BioCenter on Monday, March 3, 2014, to get a first-hand look at some of the exciting technologies which are being developed in the facility. After the tour, Dr. Cauchon emphasized that the BioCenter was founded to help these future scientists build a strong, tech-based economy here in Ventura County. With a little luck, and lots of study and hard work, we’ll see some of these students back here to start up or work in our new companies!
Our family of Ventura BioCenter scientists and engineers are happy to share their work with you. Visitors from local companies, universities, and the community alike are welcome to tour the BioCenter and see what we have to offer. And we host a variety of events, including educational seminars, entrepreneurs, investors, students and faculty from local schools, and much more. We’re bringing together science, business, and education to help build a strong and sustainable economy, and we’d love a chance to build that vision with you. If you want to learn more about the VBC and how you can get involved, contact us at 805-480-9900 or email us and schedule a tour today!
