Science Seminars
We are committed to preserving and promoting the scientific base here in our community, and as a part of that effort we offer a series of scientific seminars. We are also continuously seeking scientists eager to share their research and discoveries with our community. For more information on being a presenter, or to suggest a topic, please contact us at info@venturabiocenter.com.
Recently One Spark Academy, a 501(c)(3) educational organization partnered with the Ventura BioCenter to host a 2 day summer science workshop for middle and high school kids called Imaginessions.

Past presentations include Leonard Rome of the California NanoSystems Institute (left), who spoke about vault nanoparticles; and Katherine Gungon of Charles River Laboratories (right), who led a demonstration of the latest endotoxin testing system. Presentations such as these not only showcase the newest innovations and discoveries in science and technology, but also allow tenants and companies to network and form business relationships that may foster further growth and development in the science and business communities.
